- A group of digital text (usually about a person described as being two years of age) and a ticker with its own texts (usually about a tornado advisory) appeared one of the digital sub-channels for WKRG-TV on a frequent basis on this day: usually just before it had had audio about a tornado advisory for a part of the local broadcast area for WKRG-TV took precedence over the audio for the its regular programming feed (from a national TV programming service named Memorable Entertainment Television (Me-TV)).
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
