News for Sunday, March 17th, 2019

  • A certain part of a certain news program related to WPMI-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Sunday ("NBC 15 News at 5[pm]") appeared to have had a certain being spraying green particles over certain (facial) parts of a certain other being who appeared to have had been a certain contributor to the program itself (a certain (news) reporter named Darwin Singleton) (note #1: the program appeared to have the contributor named Darwin Singleton saying this immediately afterwards: "Ah ho. See what I--see what I do for my art. This happens every year. All right...I can't see a thing. Uh, in the mean time, you guys get up, make it a safe, and have a happy Saint Paddy's Day. This leprechaun is going to go wash his eyes out" (note #2: the program appeared to have had one of its other contributors (a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to news named Andrea Ramey) saying this immediately after appearing to have had the one named Darwin Singleton saying the words between quotation marks in the previous note: "We--we, appreciate the sacrifice there, Darwin, Sorry you lost your vision there, temporarily. It--it did get the eyebrows, though. Hopefully that washes out." (note #3: the program appeared to have had some digital graphics involving texts of "HAPPENING NOW" and "GREENING OF THE MUSTACHE" while appearing to have had the contributor named Darwin Singleton for this part of it))). 
  • A certain news program related to WPMI-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the sixteenth day of this March ("NBC 15 News at 6[pm]") appeared to have had a certain contributor of its content (a certain presenter of certain parts of it related to news named Muriel Bailey) saying, "And as you may know, NBC 15 is the original home of the famous Crichton leprechaun",  a certain video involving a certain being saying, "Who else seen the leprechaun say yeah" immediately afterwards, and the contributor saying, "Send us your leprechaun sightings so we can show them off on NBC 15 News, and take a look at a few we've all ready received. You may see your pictures and videos on an upcoming newscast" while appearing to have had a digital graphic involving text of "SEND US YOUR LEPRECHAUN SIGHTINGS" (note #1: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site named YouTube appeared to have had a certain video related to WKRG-TV near some text of "Another, more 'serious' account of the infamous leprechaun in Alabama. Story from WKRG-5, aired two days before the highly-viewed WPMI story." and some text of "Published on Mar 23, 2006" (note #2: a certain other part of the same site appeared to have had a certain video related to WPMI-TV near some texts of "Leprechaun in Crichton" and "Published on Mar 17, 2006") (update for this Sunday: the program mentioned in the paragraph above this one appeared to have had a video similar to the one mentioned near the beginning of this one (the one (video) that appeared to have had a certain being saying, "Who else seen the leprechaun say yeah") before appearing the have had the contributor of its content mentioned second in that paragraph (the one named "Andrea Ramey" in that paragraph) saying, "Well happy Saint Patrick's, everyone. It was this holiday thirteen years ago that NBC 15 aired the Crichton leprechaun story in our newscasts. Of course, the rest is, Internet history. The video was shot in the Crichton neighborhood near Toulminville. Legend has it, that NBC 15 was alerted to huge crowds gathering in the neighborhoods. Our reporter, Brian Johnson, went to investigate, and see what all the hype was about. The piece was aired twice and has since been a viral Saint Patrick's Day sensation across the country while appearing to have had some videos with digital graphics involving texts such as "HAPPENING NOW" and "ST. PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATIONS" (note #3: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site related to WPMI-TV appeared to have had a video similar to this part with an article involving details similar to them whereas a certain Facebook page also related to them appeared to have had a certain video (involving a certain voice being used to say, "Who else seen the leprechaun say yeah") near some text of "We asked an important question to people celebrating St. Patrick's in downtown Mobile today: 'WHERE'S THE LEPRECHAUN?' " related to its administration this Sunday))).
