Commentary: Some more suggestions for certain broadcasters

  • I would suggest having WHIL-FM broadcast digital signals (with streams of audio similar to streams of audio on analog signals for WHIL-FM and streams of audio related to some providers of radio programming named the BBC World Service and Xponential Radio) in addition to analog signals.
  • I would suggest WKRG-TV not have a TV program of their own (such as a TV program related to news) appear in place of a certain part of a TV program not of their own (such as the last part (or segment) of an installment of a TV program (related to news) named "The CBS Morning News" between some videos unrelated to such a program) in their programming on a regular basis (for at one broadcast channel of theirs (or at least a main broadcast channel at theirs)).
  • I would suggest what I had believed to had been a certain radio program (often involving various discussions of various subjects (and a host holding such discussions)) often broadcast in southwest Alabama (or at least one often broadcast by some radio stations related to southwest Alabama named WDLT-FM, WABD-FM, and WBLX-FM)  before this day earlier this calendar year and certain calendar years prior to this one (specifically one named "In Touch Gulf Coast") not have its host (or at least one host named Beverly McDowell) express feelings or opinions that might or might not be his (or her) own feelings or opinions and not say phrases with parts such as, "With that being said..." and, "Dog spelled backwards is...".

  1. I spoke to someone at APR many years ago about adding HD to WHIL and they said it would only happen if a rich benefactor donated the money to make it happen. The HD that had been on WQPR in the Shoals area was shut down years ago, and I am not even sure WUAL's HD is running anymore in Tuscaloosa. It was off the last two times I was in Birmingham and could check.
