News for Saturday, September 5th, 2015

WKRG-TV had a report* about some of their broadcast equipment from the past 60 years (including cameras, film, and videotape) in honor of the 60th anniversary of their first regular broadcast day (today is the anniversary).

The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a programming segment about the anniversary mentioned in the first paragraph and a (recent) station identification segment immediately before today's edition of their local news program for Saturday mornings ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday")

The sports reporter for WKRG-TV (Randy Patrick Setterstrom**) talked about his career and some of the history of WKRG-TV and the radio stations formerly known as WKRG-AM and WKRG-FM (their current names are WNTM-AM and WMXC-FM respectively) on a local radio program for the station formerly known as WKRG-AM (the name of the program was "The Uncle Henry Show").
