- WALA-TV had special programming about plans for a music festival in Mobile's down-town area being cancelled take precedence over regular programming on their main broadcast channel for a few minutes today (between 2:00 p.m. and 2:07 p.m).
- WKRG-TV was set to have the commissioner for the department of labor for the government of Alabama (Fitzgerald Washington) and employees of the Alabama Career Center provide information about available positions to members of the public by telephone from their broadcast facility in Mobile today.
- A copy of a special local TV program for WKRG-TV about a new museum in Mobile set to open on the Saturday of this September 26th was uploaded onto the official YouTube channel for WKRG-TV this past Tuesday, September 15th (the name of the museum was the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum of the Gulf Coast).
