• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have an advertisement for an organization named the Volunteers of America Southeast with a member of the organization (named Wallace Davis) saying, "Today is Grandparents Day" in conjunction with this Sunday being observed as "National Grandparents Day" in the United States during at least one of its breaks from having the local news program it had during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for this Sunday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday"). 

• The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Saturday ("Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") had one of the news presenters for their local news operation (Lance Crawford**) promoting a "new season" for a national TV program from their holding (or "parent") or parent company*** ( "Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson") that was usually part of their programming on a weekly basis (usually on Sunday during the first half of the hour of 10:00 a.m.)***

• The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV occasionally had special programming from their local news operation (about a tropical cyclone named "Irma") over other programs (including special programming about the same cyclone from their main provider of network programming (the American Broadcasting Company (ABC)), and a special program about a scholarship program named Miss America from the same provider) for a few minutes (usually less than ten) during the morning, midday, and evening periods of this Sunday (it usually had such programming once per hour).
