- Some videos that appeared to had been live on a Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV in recent times had some members of their local broadcast operation referring to them as simply "Facebook Live" (as in "this Facebook Live").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Monday on the eighteenth day of this September ("WKRG News 5 at 5") had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) referring to a news reporter for their holding (or "parent") company (Drew Petrimoulx of the Nexstar Media Group) like a member of their own company while introducing and attributing video of a report to him.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Tuesday on the nineteenth day of this September had video of a sports reporter for their local news operation (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) conducting an interview with a person specialized in analyzing collegiate football games for their main provider of network programming (Brian Jones of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)).*
- By the time of this writing this Wednesday, the guides to the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV on the World Wide Web sites named Zap2it, TitanTV, TV Guide, Xfinity (brand name for Comcast) and TV Passport still had the brand name normally used in reference to the local news programs for their local news operation before their plan for the programs to have the name "NBC 15" in place of it within their full names became effective this past Monday (the brand name before the plan became effective was "Local 15").
