- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Sunday on the tenth day of this September ("Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") had its news presenter (a news reporter named Andrea Ramey) talking about one of the (other) news reporters for their local news operation (Nicole Fierro) traveling to the city of Gainesville in the state of Florida to report on a tropical cyclone named "Irma" before having video of the reporter in an automobile talking about her doing so.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the tenth day of this September ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had video of what appeared to be the interior of an airplane recorded by a camera with a perspective of 360 degrees for a report about two members of their local news operation (Cameron Edgeworth and Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) traveling toward the inside of a tropical cyclone (the one mentioned in the first paragraph) along with some dramatic music.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had at least one of its news presenters (Bill Riales) talking about one of the news reporters for their local news operation (Hayley Minogue) broadcasting reports for other TV stations related to them (they were all members of the Nexstar Media Group) from remote locations in the city of Jacksonville in the state of Florida about the tropical cyclone mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this past Sunday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a weather reporter and some news presenters for their local news operation who were usually part of its broadcasts only for Monday through Friday in recent times (Jason Smith, Bob Grip, and Lenise Ligon respectively) and two other weather reporters for their local news operation (Matt Barrentine and Adam Olivier) appearing to be doing live reports from remote locations in the city of Tallahassee in the state of Florida about the tropical cyclone mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report.
