- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV was set to have two syndicated programs that were not usually part of their regular programming plans for Monday through Friday in recent times at an hour when it was usually set to have a second broadcast of a syndicated program named "The People's Court" from Monday through Friday in recent times this Friday (the names of the programs were "Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures" and "Jack Hanna's Into the Wild", as for the hour in which they were to be broadcast (in the order of their references here), they were set for the hour of 1:00 p.m. (each of them had one half of it to itself).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of this September ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had video of its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy) saying a certain phrase often use by its regular weather (Alan Sealls) in reference to certain weather conditions in previous installments of it in recent time after saying, "A wise man once said" (the phrase often said by the regular weather reporter was "roasty toasty"; as for how the other weather reporter said it, he did so this way: "A wise man once said: it's roasty toasty out there"**).
