News for Thursday, September 21st, 2017

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had a video in which some of its superimposed graphics (some of which were animated) appeared blurry for a report described as a "Scam Busters" report (the only superimposed graphic that did not appear blurry in the video was a logo for their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Wednesday ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had the sports reporter for their local news operation (Bri MacNaught) referring to a news reporter for their local news operation named Hal Scheurich by a nickname often used in reference to him by other members of their broadcast operation in some of their local TV programming in recent times while promoting a local sports program of theirs ("First and 10") set to have him as one of its contributors (they had referred to him as "Hustling Hal"). 
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. this Thursday ("Studio 10") had one of its hosts (Joe Emer) wishing a producer for the program (and some of the local news programming they had earlier this Thursday) and reporter of traffic conditions for some of their local news programming for Monday through Friday mornings in recent times (Carly Bragg) a happy birthday before saying this past Wednesday was her actual birthday (it also had video with a person both he and the other host (Chasity Byrd) said was her).
