News for Saturday, March 10th, 2018

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the third day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 10") was streamed (through a World Wide Web site named Livestream) with a transcript involving a different version of a report it had involving the words "fur babies" (it had "NATS calling his dogs" in place of them). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. during the hour of 5:00 a.m. on the Thursday of the eighth day of this March ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Bill Riales) saying, "Well are you looking for work or maybe a career change. News 5 is partnering with state and local officials to put on a job-readiness workshop ahead of a regional job fair later this month" for one of its reports. 
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Friday of the ninth day of this March ("Gulf Coast Today") appeared to have had a radio host for a company related to some of the radio stations in their local broadcast area (Arielle McSwain of iHeartMedia (note: the stations to which they were related were WRGV-FM, WNTM-AM, WMXC-FM, WRKH-FM, and WKSJ-FM)).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the seventh day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to had an animated sequence involving graphics resembling text of "BREAKING NEWS" and some video of its one of its regular news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "And we have late breaking news about that story ; Kati is on the phone now in Chicago tonight for an investigative reporter conference. Kati what do you have'" immediately after having a video of a report she appeared to had attributed to this "Kati" (specifically a certain "Kati Weis") immediately before having the video itself.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the sixth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the news presenter for it mentioned in the paragraph above this one saying, "And another guy caught in the act; this time in Baldwin County", at the beginning of a report concerning a certain type of being not usually described as a "guy" in other installments of it that were part of the programming of the channel in the aforementioned period of time before that Tuesday ("Spanish Fort police [are] looking for a suspected shoe thief -- take a look at this surveillance video -- it's from the Shoe Station in Spanish Fort; now according to the employees there, a woman in the video bought some shoes at the store in Pensacola, then came to this location today with a empty box and tried to return it. She left the store with the stolen shoes -- take a good look at the video -- if you can recognize that woman, you are asked to call the police in Spanish Fort".
