• WKRG-TV usually had a graphic of a past opening sequence for a news program from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) named "60 Minutes" in their previews for new editions of it on Sunday editions of their local 5:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 5") in the past year.  

• WALA-TV had an animated sequence normally used for "breaking news" in their local news programming in recent times at the beginning of their local news program for Saturday nights this past Saturday on the sixteenth day of this April instead of the animated sequence normally used at the beginning of new editions of it in recent times.
