News for Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016

  • WKRG-TV had some interviews with a person who used to perform on a national TV program named "Hee Haw" (LuLu Roman) on some of their local news programs for this Wednesday (one of them was part of the program that appeared on their main broadcast channel between 8:25 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. (she appeared to be on the set for their local news programs) whereas the other one was part of a news report for the local news program that appeared on the channel between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. (she appeared to be on a porch in the report; as for what the report was about, it was about her past and her plan to attend a special luncheon expected to occur in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama this Thursday on the third day of this November).
  • One of the news presenters on the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. (Lenise Ligon on "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") talked about editions of two syndicated TV programs of theirs ("Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune") being set to appear on their main broadcast channel during time periods in which they were usually not part of their programming in recent times this Friday (2:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. for "Jeopardy!" and 2:30 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. for "Wheel of Fortune"*) due to a plan for the channel to have special sports programming from their main provider of network programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) during the time periods in which those programs were usually set to appear on the channel from Monday through Friday in recent times this Wednesday (6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for "Jeopardy!" and 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for "Wheel of Fortune").*
(*the channel was usually set to have a syndicated courtroom program named "The People's Court" during both of these time periods from Tuesday through Saturday in recent times)
