This scam was first, noticed in late two thousand fifteen and I have reported on it before on my Daily Dot Com, and it just keeps coming back, returning, during the holidays, every year. Online, people don't seem to be, uh, oh, showing a lot of patience, questioning why the warning is needed, like John, who tweets, 'What kind of, idiot', he says, 'actually needs to be warned about this. Are they still, waiting on their Nigerian friend to, get out of jail and transfer his fortune'. Well, the BBB is not laughing, and they say the scam is real, and so is the warning".
