Commentary on news broadcasters expressing sympathy at inappropriate times
- The news presenter and weather reporter for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Thursday (Jessica Taloney and John Nodar of "WKRG News 5 This Morning" respectively) appeared sympathetic toward folks interested in capturing red snapper for recreational purposes while talking about this Thursday being one of only three days in which they could legally capture red snapper in "federal waters" of the United States this calendar year (they did so constantly).
- One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Lenise Ligon) appeared sympathetic toward the types of folks mentioned in the previous paragraph in a video that may had been streamed live through a Facebook attributed to their broadcast operation this past Wednesday on the thirty-first day of May this calendar year (it was described as a "teaser" for the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.")). She also seemed sympathetic toward relatives of a certain person who may or may not had been found dead in their local broadcast area earlier that day.
