- The hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (Chasity Byrd and Joe Emer of "Studio 10") that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this past Wednesday had said two other members of the local news operation for WALA-TV (a news presenter named Lenise Ligon and a news reporter named Alexa Knowles) were to appear on the program as part of a contest for the program named "Dale's Seasoning Cook-off Challenge" in addition to the one it had in its installment for that Wednesday (a news reporter named Hal Scheurich).*
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Thursday on the twenty-ninth day of this June ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.", "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.", and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each had a video about what a member of their local news operation (a news reporter and a news presenter named Renee Dials) had planned on doing after retiring from the operation by this Friday.**
- The sports segment for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 6") had what appeared to be a recording of the reporter mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report attempting to make contact with a professional basketball player (named Jimmy Butler) for a report about the player telling a group of folks at a news conference how to contact him by telephone.***
