News for Monday, February 26th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-second day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 5") appeared to have had a video of a report involving its own narrator (Drexel Gilbert).
- Some of the local news programs WALA-TV had on their main broadcast
channel since the Friday of the twenty-third day of this February
appeared to have had some news presenters of theirs saying the word "shockingly" while presenting parts of certain reports describing certain threats against certain schools in their local broadcast areas.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-third
day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." appeared to have had
one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) saying, "And speaking of fish;
being a Friday in Lent, I went to a fish fry tonight at Saint Catherine
Catholic Church on Spring Hill Avenue between newscasts..." immediately
after a part of it related to capturing fish ("FOX 10 Outdoors").
- Some of the local news programs WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel since the Thursday of the twenty-second day of this February appeared to have had some videos of some reports of a certain convention involving certain persons associated with certain movies being held in their local broadcast area outside of southwest Alabama ("Pensacon" in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida (note: a Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a live video of the convention involving a member of their news operation (Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) on the Friday of the twenty-third day of this February)).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first halves of the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-fifth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Robby Baker) singing, "Take me out to the Jags game after this commercial break" before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day that day (note: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had a recording of the first program with the singing before appearing to have video of the reporter saying this in connection to the recording afterwards: "Here's the deal guys: the BayBears and the Blue Wahoos whose open this season here in Mobile the beginning of April -- I will practice -- if they will have me -- I will sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' -- seventh inning stretch of the home opener -- let's make this happen -- we'll start a hash tag -- let's make a trend -- I will be there if they will have me -- what more could I do to embarrass myself -- that's the rule (the news presenter for the program (Ashley Knight) appeared to had said, "All right, what more can we do to make this happen" between the sayings of "I will be there if they will have me" and "What more could I do to embarrass myself")).
