- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twenty-first day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had an certain animated sequence that usually proceeded reports related to weather summaries of various subjects related to news at the very beginnings of certain installments of it in recent times at the very beginning of its installment for that period of time that day; specifically the one that usually preceded announcements of "breaking news" in certain installments of it in recent times.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twentieth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "Tune in this weekend for our Black History Month special; we'll take you across the gulf coast and the country highlighting the hidden history of African Americans; the special airs this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on the Gulf Coast CW** and then again at 6:30 here on WKRG News 5" while having a graphic related to what was being said (including logos for WKRG-TV and the aforementioned "Gulf Coast CW"**, the times mentioned, and text of "HIDDEN HISTORY" above them) immediately after having a video of a report involving the words "hidden history", specifically a graphic with text of those words in the form of capital letters.
- A Facebook attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had some videos of some members of the news operation at WALA-TV speaking of a partnership between WALA-TV and a service specialized in health on the Friday of the twenty-third day of this February (specifically two videos with one of two members of the operation (Lenise Ligon and Kendra Turley respectively) (note #1: one of the videos appeared to had been streamed live (note #2: the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that Friday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each appeared to have had audio of one of their news presenters (Bob Grip and Lenise Ligon) presenting a report related to the subjects of the videos over some other videos related to those subjects (Lenise Ligon on the first program; Bob Grip on the second program))).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twentieth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had audio of its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "All right who's hungry out there? Well today we're kicking off something new; it's called Lunch Bunch; it's a chance to win a free lunch -- and entering is really easy. Our first winner is Diana Burchfield of Mobile.
