WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the sixteenth day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX
10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each appeared to have had one of its
reporters (a news reporter named Alexa Knowles) speaking of having been
"brought to tears" while discussing a certain subject for a certain video that was part of the program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day.
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the sixteenth day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had
audio of its news presenter (Bob Grip) saying the word "important" in reference to a certain "forecast" over some video of a remote location involving some buildings near the end of one of its segments (this was how it was used, "Well stay with us, Jason
has one more look at your important weekend forecast straight ahead" (note: "Jason" was the forename of the weather reporter for the program (Jason Smith)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the sixteenth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to
have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying, "We have a Daytona special to get you ready for the five hundred on Sunday; it's
our 'Countdown to Daytona' special and I'll be with Mobile's Thomas
Praytor and we'll get his thoughts on last week's ARCA race that he
participated in. Countdown to Daytona airs at 1:30 tomorrow on CW55* and then at 6:30
tomorrow night on News 5 and Thomas the Moose Praytor will talk about that
wreck"
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the sixteenth day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenters (Bob Grip) saying: "If you're concerned about your heart health, FOX 10 has you covered; we're teaming up once again with Infirmary Health for free heart screenings; it's happening a week from today at these four locations, the FOX 10 News studios in Mobile, Thomas Fitness Center in Fairhope, North Baldwin Fitness Center in Bay Minette, and the Atmore Community Hospital" along with audio of his saying, "Now I hope to talk live with Superintendent Eddie Tyler about the incident about 9:30 on this newscast so we could get his take on the incident as well" and audio of his saying, "Now Bennett here has a long rap sheet, he had twelve warrants out for his arrest; in fact, it's so long that I profiled him on FOX 10 News in 2005" for one of its reports before having video of his appearing to say, "Well anyone who takes action when following the advice [of the phrase] if you see something say something is a hero in my book, but apparently there are some who disagree: we'll take a look at that and the difference between resource officers in Mobile and Baldwin County public schools next on FOX 10 News".**
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the seventeenth
day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had
one of its reporters (a news reporter named Steve Alexander Ozenovich)
saying, "Oooh, man, that sounds good--I get hungry all ready" after
having a person he appeared to had been interviewing discussing a
certain celebration being held in a certain area (note #1: the program
appeared to have had video of its news presenter (Asha Staples)
calling the celebration "The Trinity Gardens Black Heritage Parade"
before having video of the interview with the reporter immediately
afterwards (note #2: the person who appeared to had been interviewed by
the reporter appeared to had been saying this immediately before the statement attributed to the reporter: "Every house in
Trinity Gardens -- where we have fifteen hundred homes -- every house [has]--will have a party today and it will go on until a decent
hour -- maybe twelve o'clock and then it'll be Sunday morning so everybody
[would] shut down. Every house will invite people who had never seen
before -- maybe they'll have a cup of coffee, a cup of tea and other
things -- hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs -- you're in Wragg Swamp, so you'll--you'll have a lot of swamp food today -- we'll have crayfish, we'll have
frogs legs, we'll have alligator tail")).
