- A Facebook page attributed to WABF-AM appeared to have had a message attributed to its administration dated the Friday of the ninth day of this February concerning technical problems and the idea of their not broadcasting a certain type of parade that day.
- A recording of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that was usually set to appear on the main broadcast channels got WPMI-TV and WJTC-TV* from Monday through Friday in recent times ("Gulf Coast Today") appeared to had been uploaded onto a YouTube channel related to WPMI-TV on the Tuesday of the sixth day of this February (note: the channel for WPMI-TV was usually set to have this program during second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. whereas the channel for WJTC-TV was usually set to have it during the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the eighth day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) saying, "FOX 10 News is committed to making sure you get the best Mardi Gras** experience; we will have live coverage during our morning newscasts and then from ten until two we're airing our four-hour Fat Tuesday special. FOX 10 will be coming to you live from the balcony of the Admiral Hotel in downtown Mobile; it's going to be a jam-packed show. We'll also have crews in Baldwin County covering all of the parades there. Mardi Gras** coverage is taking center stage on all of our newscasts".
- The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV was set to have special programming related to a certain type of parade in their local broadcast area during some of the hours in which it was usually set to have programming from their main provider of network programming*** (the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.) on Saturday in recent times this Saturday (note #1: a World Wide Web site attributed to the provider appeared to have had a schedule of programming for that Saturday involving the hour of 2:00 p.m. (note #2: some guides to the channel on some World Wide Web sites named Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Guide each appeared to have had the name of the program listed in that schedule for the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the Sunday of the eleventh day of this February (note #3: the site attributed to the provider appeared to have had a schedule of programming for that Sunday in which the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. were not involved))).
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel during the first and second halves of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the eighth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 6:00 p.m." and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30") and the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Friday of the ninth day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 5:00 p.m.) each appeared to have had video of a certain member of their news operation (Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) discussing a certain subject related to the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama and the city of New Orleans in the state of Louisiana with a member of the news operation for a TV station based in the one named New Orleans (Duke Carter of WWL-TV in the city of New Orleans in the state of Louisiana) from various locations (note #1: a Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had live video of the part of the first program mentioned involving the members discussing the subject at the same it was appearing on the channel on the aforementioned Thursday**** (note #2: the last news program mentioned appeared to have had a video of a certain report by the member of the news operation for the station based in the city named New Orleans related to what he and the member of the news operation for WKRG-TV appeared to be discussing).
