- Some special TV programs involving parades in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama being broadcast through the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV on the Thursday of the first day of this February and the Friday of the second day of this February appeared to have had been broadcast from a balcony connected to a building (in the "down-town" area of the city) that used to be a facility for WALA-TV.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the first day of this February appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) referring to a certain reporter not usually mentioned in some of the local news programming they had in recent times while attributing a certain report to him (note: she had referred to the reporter as "News 5's Cody Long" while doing so).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the first day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had video of a certain person saying a certain phrase involving the word "hell" commonly used as a form of profanity by other persons in recent times in response to a question for one of its reports (note: some captions for the program on a Internet video stream and a World Wide Web site attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had a different phrase not involving the word "hell" in place of the one actually said by the person involving the word "hell" ("yeah it is" was the phrase they had in place of it)).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the first day of this February ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "This is one of the worst flu seasons we've had in years and now a local nurse has gone viral. Millions of views after she posted a video of her ranting on Facebook" before having a video of a report** related to what she was saying before having her saying, "This video even made an appearance on the CBS evening show tonight; it now has more than four million views, you can catch the full six minute video, six and forty-five second--minute and forty-five second video on WKRG.com"
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the first day of this February ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had audio of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon and Bob Grip) saying phrases such as,"Oh wow, not a good feeling there. Some people in the Mardi Gras* spirit tonight had those spirits crushed" (by the one named Lenise Ligon), "Yeah, a hundred twenty-five dollars will do that. That's the price you pay if you park where you're not suppose to" (by the one named Bob Grip), "It is certainly a shock to the system; it's also something we've been warning you about" (by the one named Lenise Ligon), and, "Mobile Police Department is dead serious about towing vehicles during Mardi Gras" (by the one named Bob Grip) in that order after having part of a certain video for one of the reports it was to have afterwards in that .
