News for Friday, July 21st, 2017

• Some of the local news programming broadcast by WKRG-TV, WPMI-TV, and WALA-TV this Friday included live reports about general admissions being accepted at a new amusement park in the city of Foley in southwest Alabama for the first time this Friday. 

• A Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV had what appeared to be a recording of some special news programming from their main provider of network programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) that was not part of the programming feed for their main broadcast channel this past Thursday on the twentieth day of this July. 

• A Facebook page attributed to a former news reporter for a local TV station outside of the TV market for southwest Alabama (Katarina Luketich of  WXXV-TV in the city of Gulfport in the state of Mississippi) had a message attributed to her dated for the Friday of the fourteenth day of this July indicating she had joined the local news operation for WKRG-TV between then and this Friday.
