News for Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 (corrected)
- A live video stream normally used for streaming local news programming (under the name "FOX 10 News") and local entertainment and lifestyle programming (under the name "Studio 10") for WALA-TV in recent times appeared to have a recording of some of their local news programming instead of the local entertainment and lifestyle programming they had on their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 a.m. this Wednesday.
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a local news program when it was usually set to have two syndicated programs from Monday through Friday in recent times ("How It Met Your Mother" during the second half of the hour of 10:00
p.m. and "Hot in Cleveland" during the first half of the hour of 11:00
p.m.) this past Tuesday (specifically between the last five minutes of the hour of 10:00 p.m. and the first 27 minutes of the hour of 11:00 p.m.) after having special sports programming from their main provider of network programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) during some of its of regular time periods for local news programming from Monday through Friday in recent times that Tuesday (the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m.).
- The guides to the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV from Zap2it and TV Guide had details about when it could still have a certain installment
of a syndicated TV program that was not part of its programming during
the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Tuesday in accordance with its regular programming
plan for Monday through Friday in recent times ("Wheel of Fortune" was the name of that program) later this calendar week due to the special programming mentioned in the previous paragraph
(they had this installment listed for the Sunday of the sixteenth day of
this July; specifically for the first half of the hour of 2:00 a.m. for that day
(they usually had "paid programming" listed for that time period for Sunday
in recent times).
