- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 4:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fourth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) presenting a report of a "holiday" involving colleagues of hers.
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fifth day of this April ("FOX 10 News
at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its reporters (Lee Peck)
saying, "As you can imagine, that was great news for the victim's
family" for one of its reports.
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of
10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fourth day of this April ("FOX 10
News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) each
appeared to have had video of a certain person
being asked, "Kind of an unlucky day, I guess?" after being asked,
"They said you were trafficking drugs from Mexico; is that true?" for
one of their reports.
- The last part of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and
lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV
during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Wednesday of the fourth day of this
April ("Studio 10") appeared to had graphics with text of "PREVENTING
THE FLU" "WASH YOUR HANDS", "OR USE HAND SANITIZER OFTEN" after having
audio of a certain speaker saying, "Have a great day, everyone. We'll see you
tomorrow" and graphics with text of "PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION FOR
STUDIO ten SPONSORED BY" and "BARROW FINE FURNITURE" (note: the part lasted no more than five seconds).
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV appeared to have had some special
programming involving a member of their news operation (named Jake Dunne) presenting information related to weather during at least one of
the
periods of time in which it was usually set to have a national news
program from their main provider of network programming from Monday through Friday in recent times ("Early Today"
from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) during the second half of
the hour of 4:00 a.m.) on the
Wednesday of the fourth day of this April (note: the special
programming was during the first five minutes of the aforementioned
period of time).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Friday of the sixth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Jessica Taloney) saying, "Still to come: A convicted bank robber learns his fate; we'll tell you how long he will be in prison; plus new information about why investigators were able to track him down so quickly -- not the smartest thief" (while having digital graphics and texts of "STILL AHEAD" and "Gregory Owens Sentenced" over some video not involving her self); audio of its other news presenter (Bill Riales) giggling immediately after having afterwards before saying, "Five twenty-one. Keep it right here on 'News 5 This Morning' " near the end of one of its segments (over some video not involving his self); and audio of the news presenter mentioned earlier saying, "A convicted bank robber in Mobile has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison. Meanwhile court documents reveal that Gregory Owens was not the smartest thief" (over some other video not involving her self).
