News for Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 (corrected)

(note: the seventh paragraph below this one was corrected and one of the paragraphs for an earlier report for this weblog named "News for Saturday, April 21st, 2018" was updated) 
  • Some of the local news programming WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel between this Sunday and the Friday of the twentieth day of this April appeared to have had certain members their news operation saying phrases similar to the following phrase for reports of a certain scene: "Similar to the scene you might see on TV".
  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have a certain video related to their news operation involving a certain song during one of its breaks from having a local news program of theirs (named "WKRG News 5 at 6") during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-first day of this April (note: a video similar to this one appeared to had been uploaded onto a Facebook page related to WKRG-TV by its administration on the Monday of the sixteenth day of this April).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twentieth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have a report of certain conditions related to traffic from a certain member of their news operation who was not usually not a reporter of such conditions in previous installments it that were part of its programming in that period of time before then in recent times (a weather reporter named Jason Smith).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the nineteenth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had audio of its news presenter (Devon Walsh) saying, "Dum da-da dum" for a certain type of announcement before having one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day immediately afterwards ("It's time now to announce our next Lunch Bunch winner and today's winner is -- da da-da dum -- Ronald Richard from Mobile.   • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twentieth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying this immediately after having video of a report of a certain quake: "All right and scientists say that earthquake is the most significant one in the recent since two in Michigan -- the quake in May of 2015 had a magnitude of about four point two -- my mom sent me a text message about it - she said they'd felt the host rumble like a big truck was coming back by -- she said it lasted for about twenty seconds; not something that happens every day, so a little shaking up there" (note: there some audio resembling laughter from a separate person immediately afterwards). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twentieth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had videos of one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) throwing baseballs (with graphics involving texts of "LENISE GETS SOME POINTERS", "LENISE THROWS THE FIRST PITCH", "2016", "2017", and "TONIGHT" respectively) and a discussion of her doing so (for an "executive producer" of theirs named "Kip Raling" and a certain type of game) involving her, its other news presenter (Byron Day), and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) (note: the discussion appeared to had ended with this way: Lenise Ligon: "You're next." Byron Day: "I know." Lenise Ligon: "May Fourth--" Byron Day: "Ready to rock.  Lenise Ligon: "--go see Byron when he throws."). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the nineteenth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "We've got a crazy story to share with you out of Eight Mile tonight: a high-speed chase; a trooper chased and bitten by a dog; the dog shot and killed; the suspect still on the run. Let's bring it all down for you: investigators say an Alabama state trooper tried to pull over a truck tonight near Lott and Schillinger's -- the driver punched it, which took off -- a few miles later the chase ended near Lott and Suncrest -- well the driver ran off -- we're told the dog that was in the truck also jumped out and actually started chasing the trooper and actually bit him on the hand. The trooper then shot and killed the dog; the driver got away. Investigators say they found a stolen handgun in the truck. Shelby." (note #1: "Shelby" was the forename of one of the news presenters for the program (Shelby Myers (note #2: she was usually not one of the news presenters for installments of it that were part of the programming of the channel in the period of time mentioned earlier in this paragraph before the Thursday also mentioned earlier in the paragraph in recent times))).
