- A Facebook page related to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video
of a member of their news operation (Lenise Ligon) asking for thoughts related to certain subjects for the operation operation.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the sixth day of this April ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) introducing a certain video related to a certain report without mentioning its narrator or source (note #1: the program had the video immediately after appearing to have had the news presenter named Byron Day saying, "Here is the latest from New York" (note #2: the last five seconds of the video had audio of its narrator saying, "In New York, Joy Piazza, FOX News")).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the
eighth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") appeared
to have had its news presenter (Chad Petri)
calling a certain person he appeared to had interviewed for other
installments of it that were part of its programming in this period of
time on Sunday on a regular basis in recent times (Danny Lipford) by a
name not often used in reference to him in those interviews or in installments of
other news programs of theirs that were part of its programming in recent times ("Daniel") while
appearing to conduct another interview with him.
- The local news program that
appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of
5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the fourth day of this March appeared to
have had its news presenters (Lenise Ligon and Byron Day) in a digital
box interacting with a certain person in a separate digital box without any mention of whether the person was a member
of their news operation or not (the news presenter named Byron Day
appeared to had said this upon appearing to converse with this person:
"We want to start our coverage of Doctor King's commemorative events by
bringing in reporter Ashley Thompson; she's live at the King Center in
Atlanta" whereas the one named Lenise Ligon appeared to had said this
upon appearing to converse with the person: "Ashley, thank you for
joining us. We've been seeing so [many] commemorations around the nation").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the ninth day of
this April ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") audio of one of its news
presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well some exciting news for our
superstars at FOX 10 News; Reagan Raley -- there she is here at Gulf
Breeze High School signing to play softball and study hard at Rollins
College -- that's in Winter Park, Florida -- not far from Orlando", and
audio of the other one (Byron Day) saying, "Her dad, FOX 10 News
executive producer Kip Raley was there for the proud moment as Reagan
gets ready for this exciting new chapter of her career and education. We
are also very excited for Reagan and dad -- a big congratulations. You
know Kip's not a bad college baseball player either" immediately
afterwards (note: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. later this Monday ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the news presenter named Byron Day saying statements similar to the ones attributed to him and the news presenter named Lenise Ligon earlier in this paragraph ("Some exciting news for one of our young champions right here at FOX 10 News: Reagan Raley, a senior at Gulf Breeze High School, has signed to play softball and study hard -- hopefully -- at Rollins College -- that's in Winter Park, Florida, not far from Orlando -- her dad, our executive producer Kip Raley was there for the proud moment as Reagan gets ready for this new exciting moment of her career and education and, of course, all of us at FOX 10 are very excited for Reagan and dad -- a big congratulations to both.").
