News for Sunday, April 8th, 2018
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. this Sunday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday") appeared
to have had its news presenter (Chad Petri) connecting his self and some relatives of his to the subject of an interview he appeared to had been conducting with a certain person.
- A Facebook page attributed to a certain person named Christina Andress who appeared to had been part of the news operation for WKRG-TV in recent times appeared to have had a message
attributed to her dated for the Tuesday of the third day of this April
involving text of "Left Job at WKRG" (note: some other parts of the page
(specifically the ones named "Intro" and "About") appeared to have had
text of "Former Meteorologist at WKRG").
- An Internet video service named YouTube appeared to had received some recordings of a certain TV program named "Last Week Tonight" for a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named the Home Box Office (HBO)
involving certain members of the news operation for WEAR-TV (two news
presenters named Bob Solarski and Sue Straughn) between this Sunday and the Sunday of the first day of this April (caution: the recordings had profanity).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the seventh day
of this April ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have its news
presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "First tonight on your most local news
at nine" before presenting one of its reports immediately afterwards (note: she appeared to had done so immediately after appearing to had said, "Hello, everyone, I'm Shelby Myers. Thanks for watching FOX 10 News").
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the
Wednesday of the fourth day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared
to have had its news presenter (Bill Riales) in a digital box
interacting with a certain person in a separate digital box without any mention of whether the person was a
member of their news operation or not (note: the news presenter appeared to
had said this upon appearing to converse with this person: "Victoria
Price is live with us now in Memphis with, uh, people from across the
country looking back and also forward at the work that's still ahead.
Good afternoon, Victoria.").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the seventh day of this April ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (Robby Baker) saying, "Hello friends and welcome back to News 5 at ten o'clock-- it was a crazy day at the Masters, rainy weather and cold temperatures out in the -- that was my best Jim Nantz impression", "And finally, this Jason, baseball action here, Red Sox, J. D. Martinez goes hard over the Green Monster -- it's exciting, but this isn't necessarily too crazy. The day he gets back to the dugout and wants to get some props from his teammates and he gets nothing. No soup for you, said the Red Sox to J. D. Martinez. He just has to kind of high five the air, but don't worry, though, it's ok, people at home. He gets like a hug at the end, so it was all worth it, but that was a humiliating walk down the dugout and it's all caught of camera", and, "I loved it, he looks so happy, he was just like, 'Yeah, high five for
me, high five for me, hug for this guy, high five for me" for a part of it related to sports (note #1: the program appeared to have its news presenter (Jason Carter) saying, "But--but it was in Fenway and just the essence of Fenway is special so--" immediately after having the statement beginning with the word "And" (note #2: the program appeared to have the same news presenter saying, "It's like we're going to play a hundred sixty-seven games; we're going to high five you eventually, I guess, basically. Oh my goodness, gracious. We're going to have take a break; we'll be right back" immediately after having the statement beginning with the letter "I"))).
