• Some recordings of promotional videos for WKRG-TV dated for the year 1975 were uploaded onto an Internet video service named YouTube last Saturday on the eighth day of this October (they were about some national network TV programs from their main provider of network programming ("Kojak" (a dramatic program) and "Cher" (a variety program) from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)). 

• The brand name for the local news operation at WALA-TV was part of the ending to a news report attributed to a member of a national cable TV and satellite TV programming specialized in news (Jennifer Griffin of the FOX News Channel) that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (the name of the program "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m."; the ending to the report was "In Washington, Jennifer Griffin, FOX 10 News").
