News for Tuesday, October 11th, 2016

• The official World Wide Web site for WXQW-AM usually did not have information about their programming plans for the hours between  9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. for Monday through Friday since their broadcast operation started having news and discussion programming on a regular basis last October (their programming feed had a syndicated program named "The John Batchelor Show" during that time period this Tuesday). 

• A member of WPMI-TV specialized in providing content about their local news operation on the World Wide Web (Taren Reed) started presenting a special type of programming segment for one of their local news programs ("Local 15 News at Noon") usually presented by a news presenter for the program (usually a former member of theirs named Kelly Jones) on a weekly basis back in September (the segments were usually reviews about certain forms of entertainment). 

• WKRG-TV had a radio announcer for WAVH-FM (Sean Sullivan) whereas WPMI-TV had radio announcers for WNSP-FM (Randy Kennedy and Creg Stephenson) and WRGV-FM (Matt McCoy and Greg Hill) on at least one of their local news programs this Tuesday (the appearance by the announcer for WAVH-FM was part of a news report about a museum in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama; the appearances by the ones for WNSP-FM were part of a review of some of the collegiate football programs in the Southeastern Conference (it was named a "mid-season" report); the ones for WRGV-FM were part of the type of programming segment mentioned in the first paragraph of this report).
