- The local news programs that were usually set to appear on the the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV, WPMI-TV, and WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times ("WKRG News 5 at 10", "NBC 15 News [at 10 p.m.]", and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." respectively) appeared on their respective channels a few minutes longer than usual (or no later than forty-five minutes) after the beginning of that hour) this Tuesday before having the programs they were usually set to have during the second half of that hour from Monday through Friday in recent times ("The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", "Tonight" (or "The Tonight Show") and "Page Six TV" respectively).*
- The beginning of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the tenth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its weather (Thomas Geboy) appearing to stand in front of a black setting while saying, "Well the graphics behind me might had crashed but all you need to know [is that] it was bitterly cold this weekend, but heading into Monday we're actually going into a warming trend. We'll have your full forecast coming up on News 5 which starts right now" before having its news presenter (Ashley Knight) immediately after him* before having him appearing in front of digital graphics normally used for parts of some of the local news programming it had pertaining to weather before then in recent times saying, "Well we got the graphics back and on Friday and Saturday morning, Frosty the Snowman paid us a visit and this morning Jack Frost paid us a visit".**
(**the program usually had an animated sequence with an announcer saying, "Now on WKRG News 5" before having audio of a summary of various subjects planned for it along with videos related to them before having an animated sequence with an announcer saying, "From WKRG News 5, the gulf coast's news leader, the news starts now" before having a news presenter introducing his self or her self before presenting a news report in previous installments of it in recent times)
