(note: typographical errors were corrected in the previous report for this weblog ("News for Tuesday, December 12th, 2017" (the fourth paragraph from the top of it originally had "forty" where "forty-five" was originally intended and one the parentheses for it was not in the spot for which it was originally intended)))
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had a logo for WFNA-TV* among some graphics pertaining to weather for one of its weather reports without any explanation as to why it was there.
  • Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel on the Tuesday on the twelfth day of this December had at least one report of a helicopter being used to deliver toys for a certain initiative of theirs ("The Magical Christmas Toy Drive") near a facility for their broadcast operation that day.
  • A Facebook page attributed to Mississippi Public Broadcasting had a message attributed to its administration dated for the Monday of the eleventh day of this December concerning the broadcast tower for the radio station of the radio network for Mississippi Public Broadcasting that usually had southwest Alabama in its local broadcast area in recent times (WMAH-FM in the city of Biloxi in the state of Mississippi).
(*WFNA-TV and WKRG-TV were related to each other due to their having the same owners and their being part of a holding company named the Nexstar Media Group)
