News for Monday, May 27th, 2019

  •  A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-fifth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its contributors (a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to news named Lee Peck) saying, "And here's a good story for you: a Saint Louis teen helping a man in a wheelchair, get home when severe weather hit his town, this week, and now getting some much-deserved recognition. His mom recorded the act of kindness, posted it to Facebook, took on a life of its own, and going viral. Kim Onjay has the story" and a certain video involving audio of a certain narrative and some digital graphics involving texts of "TEEN HELPS DISABLED MAN HOME" and "PUSHES WHEELCHAIR BACK AS SEVERE WEATHER HITS".
  • A certain part of the video mentioned above this one had a certain discussion involving a certain name ("Mel Showers") for a certain contributor for some of the news programming related to WKRG-TV that appeared to had been part of their main broadcast channel before this Monday earlier this calendar year and certain calendar years prior to this one (transcript of discussion: "Obviously tonight I hope you stay with us throughout the entire show, but uh, coming up a little later, well coming up next, we've got our, uh, spotlight feature on Ethan Wilson from South Alabama, and then after that, uh, Randy, sits down with, uh, Mel Showers as they relive some of the most iconic sports moments that they've, uh, witnessed together, and it's a great conversation*. Also, an, uh, fantastic excuse to have, uh Mel be on the WKRG airwaves again. Wish him well in his--in his retirement, or I--I suppose semi-retirement as we are wording it, because, if you've watched the -- any of the earlier shows tonight, he's actually the, uh, voice now that brings us back from commercial breaks which, when I got to talk with Mel, this week, before I say good bye to him, he, we were joking that -- his career came here full circle here because he started off as the booth announcer, bringing, reading commercials and bringing, the, shows back in from commercial break, and now, that is how, uh, his legacy will live on here now as our, uh, open, announce that says we've come back from breaks, so that's kind of a cool --  a cool little tidbit there." (note: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a video with some text "Randy Patrick one-on-one with Mel Showers" near some text of "MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) - On this week's WKRG Sports Overtime, Randy Patrick sits down with Mel Showers to relive some of Mobile's biggest sports moments." this Monday)).
