News for Sunday, August 25th, 2019

  • Certain guides to the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV on certain World Wide Web sites named Zap2it, TitanTV, TV Guide, and TV Passport for the Saturday of the twenty-fourth day of this August appeared to have had listings for certain programs unrelated to sports or advertising for certain periods of time in which the channel usually appeared to have had such programs on Saturday prior to that day earlier this calendar year (details of listings: "The Listener" for the hour of 2:00 p.m. for that day; "Murdoch Mysteries" for the hour of 3:00 p.m. for that day; "The Big Bang Theory" for the first and second halves of the hour of 4:00 p.m." for that day). 
  • A certain part of a certain Facebook page involving various texts of "WFLA Steve Jerve"  appeared to have have texts such as "Ed's last day!! We sure hate to lose WFLA Ed Bloodsworth on the Storm Team, but we understand that this is a great opportunity at WKRG in Mobile. Ed will be their new Chief Meteorologist. Thanks for everything Ed and good luck! WFLA News Channel 8" near a certain video involving a certain being saying phrases such as, "I have taken a job at our sister station in Mobile, WKRG" and, "I will be their new meteorologist" immediately afterwards this Sunday (note: WKRG-TV and WFLA-TV appeared to have had been members of a certain holding company named the Nexstar Media Group before this Sunday earlier this calendar year and certain calendar years prior to this one)).
  • A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twenty-first day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its contributors (a certain reporter for certain parts of it related to weather named Jason Smith) saying, "Let's talk about the tropics real quick as we had some new information coming in on Chantal, which is, really hard to even pick out, I mean if you looked at the map and you had no idea where Chantal would be. Uh, eh I don't know, uh how about that, right there. That tiny thing, that is Chantal. We got a couple of others, um, eh um, areas of disturbed weather that we're watching, this is actually Tropical Depression Chantal now. It popped up as a tropical depression last night and here we are, late tonight as it's weakening. A very ragged in its appearance, on the satellite, um, a very, very uh sheered system and over some, marginal water temperatures as far as supporting tropical developments, so, not very likely to see that one survive beyond the next day or so. It's an open water system, it'll have no impact on our weather.       
  • A certain part of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twenty-first day of this August ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had certain disembodied voices being used to say, "Saint Michael Cardinals hosting Florala. A really close game there. You got Florala winning thirty-six to thirty-four, and you can catch the highlights of that game along with highlights with some of the biggest games around town tomorrow right here on FOX 10" (with some digital graphics involving texts of " "WEEK ONE", "FLORALA 36", "(1-0) NEXT: AT COTTAGE HILL CHRISTIAN", "ST. MICHAEL 34", "(0-1) NEXT: BYE WEEK", and "F") before appearing to have had certain other disembodied voices being used to say, "That's because FOX First and 10 [ten] is back, Bri MacNaught will host, Hustling Hal Scheurich, and, of course, our new addition Michael Working It Warrick, will join her to bring you the only thirty-minute high-school highlight show, in the entire viewing area. That's tomorrow night, beginning, at ten o'clock" immediately afterwards (with a certain digital image involving texts of "TOMORROW" and "10PM" and a certain graphic with parts resembling texts of "FOX10" and "1st &10").
  • A certain part of a certain news program related to WPMI-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-fourth day of this August ("NBC 15 News at 6") appeared to have had a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "And you can see the entire interview with Mark Robinson on America This Week with Eric Bolling, right now on our Web site mynbc15 dot com, and America This Week with Eric Bolling also airs at ten thirty on our sister station WEAR" (while appearing to have had a certain digital image with graphics resembling texts of "AMERICA THIS WEEK" and "WITH ERIC BOLLING") after appearing to have had a certain video with digital graphics involving texts of "AMERICA THIS WEEK" and "STANDING UP FOR VIDEO" and a certain contributor of the program (a certain presenter for certain parts of it related to news and sports named Lance Crawford) saying, "In an America This Week exclusive, Mark Robinson tells Eric Bolling what he hopes to accomplish, by running for lieutenant governor of North Carolina" with a voice similar to the one mentioned earlier in this paragraph (note #1: WPMI-TV and WEAR-TV appeared to have had been members of a certain holding company named the Sinclair Broadcast Group before this Saturday earlier this calendar year and certain calendar years prior to this one (note #2: the channel usually did not appear to have had a news program related to them in this period on Saturday prior to this one earlier this calendar year))).
