- Between 6:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. this Friday, the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had a promotional video involving members of their local news operation, various persons from outside their broadcast operation performing different sports, and the words
"Go Team USA" during certain breaks in its presentation of a special network

- Between 7:00 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. this Friday, the main broadcast
channel for WFNA-TV had the same programming that appeared on the
main broadcast channel for their companion station (WKRG-TV) instead of
the one it usually had from Monday through Friday evenings (between 7:00
p.m. and 9:00 p.m.) in recent times before having no programming of
any kind for several minutes each before having the programming feed it
usually had from Monday through Friday evenings (the programming that appeared
on both broadcast channels was from the main provider of network
programming for WKRG-TV (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)); the programming that later appeared on the main broadcast channel from
WFNA-TV was from their own main provider of network programming (the CW).
