News for Sunday, August 7th, 2016

• WKRG-TV had a member of a national TV program based in Mobile (Chelsea Lipford of "Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford") on the set of their local news programs for a segment of the local news program they had on their main broadcast channel between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. this Sunday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Sunday"). 

• Last Monday on the first day of this August, one of the news presenters one on local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. that day (Chad Petri on "WKRG News 5 This Morning") was imitating the way one of its regular news presenters (Bill Riales) usually said in response to segments it had about dogs available for adoption seconds after the appearance of such a segment (both of them had lowered the tones of their voices while referring to the dogs in the segments to which they had responded as "big sweet[ies]").*
