- WFNA-TV had video of some members of their broadcast operation (including members of the news department for their companion station (WKRG-TV)) giving away lemonade in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida on their local news program ("CW55 News at 9 [p.m.]"*) this past Wednesday on the third day of this August.
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a promotional video about their plan to have certain students in their local broadcast area present weather reports on one of their local news programs (the one for Monday through Friday mornings named "FOX 10 News in the Morning"**) every "school day" beginning with the Wednesday on the tenth day of this August.
- Even though the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV occasionally had a promotional video in which a member of their local news department told their audience they were their "back to school station" this Thursday, the one for WPMI-TV had at least one member of their local news operation referring to their selves as their audience's "back to school headquarters" while presenting a report related to schooling on one of their local news programs this Thursday.
(**the same name was used for their local news program for Saturday and Sunday mornings in recent times (one of the weather reporters for the program for Saturday and Sunday mornings (Matt Barrentine) occasionally said "FOX 10 News weekend morning edition" during some of its broadcasts to distinguish it from the news program for Monday through Friday mornings).
