- This past Saturday on the thirteenth day of this August, the programming feed for WAVH-FM had an advertisement about their plan to sponsor a summit about security that may occur next Saturday on the twentieth day of this August.
- WALA-TV had animated graphics normally used for announcing "breaking news" (or news that occurred earlier) on their local news programs in recent times precede such announcements at the very beginnings of both of their local news programs for this Sunday ("FOX 10 News in the Morning" and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").
- A few seconds before one of the breaks for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. this Sunday ("WKRG News 5 at 5"), one of its presenters (Ashley Knight) had referred to one of the candidates for the presidency of the United States from the past year (Donald Trump) by only his last name (or surname) while describing a report they had about him that was set to appear on the program after the break.
