• One of the local radio programs for WAVH-FM was given another hour in their weekly programming plans this past July (the name of the program was "Armed Alabama"; the hour it was given was the hour of 6:00 p.m. in addition to its hour of 7:00 p.m.; as for its calendar day in their weekly programming plans, it was Tuesday).  

• The local news program WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel this Saturday evening ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a report about their plan to have special programming about two high-school football teams from their local local broadcast area (the Toros of Spanish Fort High School in the city of Spanish Fort and the Yellow Jackets of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama) on the channel next Friday in the nineteenth day of this August during a time period when it usually had another local news program of theirs from Monday through Friday (5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.").
