- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-first day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of its news presenters (Devon Walsh**) presenting a report concerning an interview broadcast by a certain TV station without mentioning the name of the station (she had described the station only as "an Alabama TV station") whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the same period of time that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) presenting a similar report*** in which one of the local news programs for WALA-TV was referenced.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-first day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy****) saying this regarding a certain "Rudolph" without explaining whom or what he was referencing while discussing a possibility of fog in the local broadcast area for WKRG-TV (this is what he was saying while doing so: "And once we see the fog build in it's going last through the morning hours, So I'm going to say it to you over and over like a broken record, make sure you give yourself extra time, like a broken record, also make sure to give your self plenty of space between you and the car in front of you, and don't forget to use the low beams, that's what Rudolph would do and that's what you should do as well").
