- A video of a certain rendition of a poem originally named "A Visit from Saint Nicholas" related to WKRG-TV named "Christmas Poem 2017" was uploaded onto a World Wide Web site specialized in audio and video recordings named YouTube with a description stating it had been uploaded there on the twentieth day of this December (a Wednesday).*
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of
the twenty-second day of this December ("WKRG News at 10") had audio of
one of its news presenters (Devon Walsh) saying this in between her
presenting a report related to a shelter for dogs while having video
related to it: "Oh, look at him putting his paw up".
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on
the Friday of the twenty-second day of this December ("FOX 10 News at
5:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a video of a report involving its narrator (Devan Coffaro)
and a camera operator (Ronald Gaines) (note: the reporter herself
appeared to had introduced the video as part of the first program mentioned).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Saturday
("NBC 15 News [at 5 p.m.]") had its news presenter (Lance Crawford**)
presenting information pertaining weather instead of a weather reporter
for the news operation at WPMI-TV (such as any member of it who usually
did so for some of the local news programming it had before then in
recent times (Kelly Foster**,
Chris Dunn, Jake Dunne, and Jessica Townsend)).
- At least one of the weather reporters for some of the local news programming WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel in recent times (such as one named Michael White) had occasionally said a
certain "Santa" was to be "coming to town" without explaining whom or
what he was referencing while presenting predictions of weather for the
Sunday of the twenty-fourth day of this December and the Monday of the
twenty-fifth day of this December in some of the local news programming
they had earlier this calendar week.
(*the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV was usually set to have a video like this one in its programming on the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth days of December
in years past)
(**the one named Lance Crawford was also a sports reporter for the operation before then in recent times whereas the one named Kelly Foster was also a news presenter for the local news programming it had for the morning and noon hours of Monday through Friday in recent times in addition to being one of the hosts for a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that was usually set to be part of its programming during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times (named
"Gulf Coast Today"))
