- A digital graphic involving a timer, the words "polls open", and
images of what appeared to had been two candidates for a position
in the Senate of the United States from the state of Alabama named Roy
Moore and Doug Jones occasionally appeared on some of the local news
programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this Monday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Monday ("FOX 10 News at
9:00 p.m.") had a video (similar to this one) of one of its
news presenters (Bob Grip) appearing to redo a presentation of his
concerning the results of certain polls related to a persons mentioned
in the paragraph above this one (he appeared to had said this while appearing to had done so: "Let's try again! Take
two! Three, two...").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had live video of one of its news reporters (Allen Carter) in a remote location doing an opinionated report related to a plan to hold an election for the position in the Senate of the United States sought by the persons mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report on the Tuesday of the twelfth day of this December before having a separate video involving another opinionated report related to the plan (this is what the reporter appeared to had been saying: "Well Devon, at this point this isn't exactly an election that's going to sneak up on anyone. There has been local and of course national coverage, but at this point both sides are still trying to drum up any last minute votes they could find" (this is what was said in the other video (its narrator sounded like that of the reporter in the previous one): "This is it, the political home stretch on the eve of election day and depending on which poll you look at it's any man's race and both sides know that every vote counts; if only honks translated to votes; supporters taking their corners and stomping").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of
5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Friday of the eighth day of this
December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") appeared to have had a live video of one of its reporters (a news reporter named Katarina Luketich)
doing an opinionated report related to weather from what appeared to
had been a remote location (this is what she had appeared to had been
saying: "Bill, you were asking for it, if it was cold enough to
see your breath (blows breath) -- it definitely is -- very chilly out
here and unfortunately for students in Mobile, Baldwin, and Pensacola,
as well as in Escambia County, Alabama, there will be classes today. I
know, I grew up in New Jersey and I always used to wear my pajamas
inside out hoping for a snow day and it doesn't seem like it is the case
so school is on in Mobile County, Baldwin County, Escambia Country,
Florida, and Escambia County, Alabama. The kiddos will be heading on to
the buses in just a little while here and as you prep those kids to head
out the door make sure that you bundle them up, it is extremely,
extremely cold outside but on [that] schools are running as scheduled
here in Citronelle").
