- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday
of the sixteenth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its news presenter (Ashley Knight)
saying, "And
Trump's former campaign manager was on the gulf coast tonight. We'll
tell you why after the break" immediately before one of its breaks and
her saying, "Welcome back. A former campaign manager for now-president
Donald
Trump has written a book that takes us behind the scenes of the Trump
campaign" immediately after that break after having presented a report without any mention of any specific campaign manager or any specific entity (or being) named "Trump" (note: she had presented a report concerning a certain "president" named "Trump" earlier in the part of the program before that
break, though).
- The local news program WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel after
the special network programming it had from their main provider of such
programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company)
during the evening hours of the Saturday of the sixteenth day of this
December appeared over a period of time (thirty minutes between the
first and second halves of the hour of 9:00 p.m.) that was half the
period of time in which it had such a news program after the regular
network programming it had from the same provider during some of the
same hours (only the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. rather than those
hours and the hour of 9:00 p.m. for this Saturday) on the Saturday of the tenth day of this December in accordance with how it usually had local news
programming after having either regular network programming or special
news programming from the provider on Saturday evenings in recent
times.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourteenth day of this December
("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Bob Grip) appearing to refer to some of the news reporters for the news operation at WALA-TV (Kendra Turley and Toi Thornton) the way he usually referred to reporters of a national cable TV
and satellite TV programming service named the FOX News Channel in some
of the local news programming they had for their own broadcast operation
in recent times while appearing to introduce certain videos of some reports attributed to them (he was saying, "FOX's Toi Thornton has been following this story
and has details" and "FOX News correspondent Kendra Turley has more") whereas the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.) had him appearing to refer to them the ways in which he usually referred to refers in some of their local news programming they had in recent times (he was saying "FOX 10's Toi Thornton has been
following this story today and has details on it: and "FOX 10
News reporter Kendra Turley has more").
