News for Sunday, December 10th, 2017

(note: an unfinalized version of the report titled "News for Friday, December 8th, 2017" was published by mistake (some parts of it had errors and certain parts of it were not linked to other sites on the World Wide Web))
  • The main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV had a theatrical movie named "The Muppets Take Manhattan" both this Sunday (during the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.) and the Saturday of the ninth day of this December (during the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.). 
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Friday of the eighth day of this December ("Studio 10") had audio of one of its hosts (Chasity Byrd) sounding as if she were having problems with a script  (she was saying phrases such as, "What is going on with the script?", "We're having a good time with this", "It started from the beginning of this", and, "We're just going to ad-lib because that's what I do best" while sounding as if she were having such problems). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") did not have an animated sequence with a certain announcer saying, "Now on 'WKRG News 5' " or a preliminary of subjects planned for it before having one of the other animated sequences normally used to begin installments of it in recent times, specifically the one with audio of the same announcer saying, "From WKRG News 5, the gulf coast's news leader. The news starts now". 
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had live videos of a reporter for the news operation at WALA-TV who was not usually part of the news programming it had from the operation before then (a Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video of her describing herself as "the newest member of the FOX 10 team" whereas a Facebook page attributed to her had the same video with a message attributed to her consisting of the words "Initial report" above it; as for her name, both pages had "Kendra Turley" in reference to her). 
  • The main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV and WKRG-TV appeared to have had special programs related to certain parades in their local broadcast areas when they were usually set to have national news programs dedicated to summaries of news from their respective main providers of network programming on Saturday in recent times on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December (the special program on the channel for WPMI-TV had a parade of boats near the city of Orange Beach in southwest Alabama whereas the special program on the channel for WKRG-TV had a parade of persons, floats, and automobiles in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida* during the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m.; as for the national news programs they were usually set to have during that period on Saturday recent times, the channel for WPMI-TV was usually set to have the one named "NBC Nightly News" from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) whereas the channel for WKRG-TV was usually set to have one "The CBS Weekend News" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)**).
(*the channel for WKRG-TV occasionally had video of the special program of it had in a box near a separate box with videos of various advertisements while having audio related only to the advertisements)

(**some World Wide Web sites related to the news programs appeared to have had recordings of certain installments of them dated for that Saturday)
