  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV and WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourteenth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had live video of a news reporter (Bryant Clerkley on the one for WKRG-TV; Lee Peck on the one for WALA-TV) in a remote location doing a report concerning a theatrical movie named "Star Wars: The Last Jedi"
  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV was usually set to have local news programming for only a period of thirty minutes after having network programming from their main provider of such programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) on Saturday evenings in recent times (usually during the first half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. or shortly after having special sports programming from the provider any time during that period of time) before having such news programming over the course of sixty minutes on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December (during the hour of 9:00 p.m.).
  • Some former members of the local news operation at WKRG-TV related to each for personal reasons (Avery Cotton* and Drexel Gilbert (daughter and mother respectively)) appeared to had been part of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourteenth day of this December for a part of it dedicated to the initiative mentioned second paragraph from the top of this report (note: some of the local news programming for the channel earlier this December and past November often had the one named Drexel Gilbert promoting the initiative).
