• One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WPMI-TV (Greg Peterson) had an interview with the host of a national public affairs program that usually appeared on their main broadcast channel on Sunday mornings through their main provider of network programming (the name of the host was Chuck Todd; the name of the public affairs program was "Meet the Press"; the name of the provider was the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)). 

• The news presenter mentioned in the previous paragraph of this report said WPMI-TV and 43 of their "sister stations" (they were all members of the same company: the Sinclair Broadcast Group) polls with the following question earlier this (calendar) week while presenting a report about the results of the polls in their local news programming this past Friday (December 4th): "Do you think the government can keep you safe from acts of terrorism?"

• WPMI-TV had a report from a sports reporter for the local news operation of one of their "sister stations" (Joe Whelan of WBMA-TV in Birmingham, Alabama) broadcast without any mention name of the station or their connection to each other in their local news programming this past Friday (the report was about plans for a championship football game involving a football team for one of the high schools in the local broadcast area for WPMI-TV (Spanish Fort High School in Spanish Fort, Alabama).
