News for Friday, June 14th, 2019

  • A certain part of a certain Facebook page related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had some text of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  President Donald J. Trump turns 73 today. Do you have a message for the president on his birthday?" related to its administration near a certain image involving text of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESIDENT TRUMP" that also appeared to have had been related to its administration this Friday.
  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV appeared to have had a certain video involving a certain disembodied voice being used to say, "Tune in this week for Southern Living: Savor the South" and some texts similar to these texts of "Thursday, June 13" and "10:00 a.m." between the beginning of the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the end of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the thirteenth day of this June.
  • A certain part of a certain TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared to have had been part of the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Thursday of the thirteenth day of this June ("Studio 10") appeared to have had one of its contributors (a certain host for certain parts of it named Joe Emer) saying, "Yeah, it's another special show today, in that we have half hour of a pretty, standard Studio 10", one of its other contributors (a certain other host for certain parts of it named Chelsey Sayasane) saying, "Right" immediately afterwards, the one mentioned first saying, "-- but then the second half hour, we are showing you a Southern Living Savor the South special that we shot in Birmingham" immediately afterwards, the one mentioned saying saying, "Yeah, we had a ton of fun, did all kinds of things, so, so excited to show you those special shows throughout the month of June and July" immediately afterwards, and the one mentioned first saying, "So that starts this morning at nine thirty" immediately afterwards (note: a certain part of a certain World Wide Web site named Livestream that appeared to have had this part and other parts of it during the part of the hour mentioned earlier in his paragraph did not appear to have had any other part of it during the second half of that  hour).
  • Certain parts of a certain news program related to WALA-TV that appeared to have had been part of their main broadcast channel during the hour of 9:00 p.m.. on the Sunday of the twentieth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a certain contributor of its content (a certain reporter for certain parts of it related to weather named Matt Barrentine) saying, "Here's what it looks like as we go through the rest of the week: so tomorrow, if your yard needs some rain, you better hope you get some tomorrow because after that then you might have to water it, uh we're looking at dry conditions, as we go through the rest of the week. In actual we're going to start seeing, toward the end of the week, is a ridge of high pressure building in on the upper levels, kind of like putting a lid on top of a pot, and that is going to start trapping the heat", "Here's what it looks like in the forecast tomorrow morning, we could get a stray shower in the coastal areas early on, and then after that, we'll start seeing some showers bubbling up right around I-ten, so kind of a sea breeze action kind of day and then, uh, we could see those bubbling up as the day goes along", and, "So here it's how it looks: you wake up and get going in the morning, it shouldn't be too bad, it'll be in the seventies, uh we'll see those temperatures quickly coming on up, it should be in the mid eighties there by lunch time and once again the possibility of a couple of storms out there. Temperatures will top out in the upper eighties there tomorrow, and then   temperatures will drop off in the seventies there around seven o'clock in the evening on your Monday. Of course, it's not just about the heat, like I said earlier it's also about that humidity. We add that heat index in there and it's going to feel like, the low nineties out there tomorrow. Now, uh, for the rest of this week, though we are not going to have to add the humidity to get to the low nineties, we are all ready going to be there, so our heat index values are going to be even hotter, and the reason why is because we have that, uh, ridge building in on the upper levels   as we head toward the Memorial Day weekend, and that's like putting a lid on top of a bubbling pot, trapping that heat in there, and it's going to cause the heat to build as we head towards the end of the week".
