- One of the local news programs for WKRG-TV ('WKRG News 5 at Noon") had
videos about certain restaurants specialized in barbecuing for a contest
involving them and other restaurants specialized in barbecuing in its
broadcasts for the Friday and Thursday of the twenty-ninth and twenty-eighth days of this September.
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had some video about a plan for
the main broadcast channel for their companion station (WFNA-TV)* to have
a program that used to appear on their own main broadcast channel on a
regular basis (usually on Saturday nights) between the calendar years
2010 and 2012 ("Heartland") on the Sunday of the first day of October for this calendar year.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Saturday ("WKRG News 5
This Morning: Saturday") had its regular news presenter (Chad Petri)
introducing his self in a way unlike the way he usually introduced his self in its broadcasts in recent times (he did not say, "I don't know
who's watching, but I'm glad you are" while doing so in its broadcast for this Saturday).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past
Friday ("NBC 15 News at 5 [p.m.]") had one of the news presenters for their local news operation (Greg Peterson) saying the channel would have a "salute" to a former member of an armed service at "9:59 [p.m.]" before having one of their other local news programs ("NBC 15 News at 10 [p.m.]") at "10:00 [p.m.]" on a regular basis.
