  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-ninth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had one of its news reporters (Alexa Knowles) saying, "Speaking of 'crazy' " after having a video of a report in which one of its subjects was using the words "crazy".  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Saturday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday") had its news presenter (Chad Petri) referring to a certain event only by its calendar date (without the year) along with the type of event it was after having video of a report to which it was related (this is what he was saying: "This was New York City's deadliest fire in decades with the exception of the September eleventh terror attacks").
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-ninth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had reports of a member of the news operation at WKRG-TV (a news reporter named Bryant Clerkley) being part of a session of training involving deputies for a sheriff in the local broadcast area for WKRG-TV (the first program appeared to have had live video of the reporter presenting one of those reports from what appeared to had been a remote location before having a separate video related to those reports).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-ninth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Bob Grip) using a word associated with electricity to describe a report concerning an attempt at using electricity to kill a certain being while appearing to introduce video of it (this is what he was saying while appearing to do so: "Shocking story out of Florida tonight: Flagler County officials say a man rigged the front door of his father-in-law's house in an attempt to electrocute his estranged wife. Take a listen (the report in the the video itself had other words associated with electricity used in a similar ways such as, "This door sparking concern in Flagler County" and "allegedly wanted to leave a shocking message")).*

  • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a video with an announcement concerning a certain type of software named Alexa and the local news operation at WALA-TV during one of its breaks from having a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles named "Studio 10" on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of this Thursday.   
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a video of a news report (attributed to a news reporter for the news operation at WALA-TV named Kati Weis) in which the word "crazy" was being used in reference to some of its subjects by its narrator.
  • The local news programming that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had its news presenter (Hayley Minogue*) saying this after presenting a report related to reindeer: "How about those reindeer? I can't even pay attention to what I'm reading because I'm trying to look at the reindeer".
  • Some of the local news programming for WALA-TV since the Monday of the twenty-fifth day of this December had members of the news operation at WALA-TV presenting reports of a plan for the main broadcast channel of WALA-TV to have a certain "special" (related to a plan to hold a certain game of football involving the football teams for the University of Alabama and Clemson University on the Monday of the first day of January for the next calendar year (2018)) on the Sunday of the thirty-first day of this December (during the second half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. for that day). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-eighth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Bob Grip) presenting an opinionated report (similar to one in the form of an article World Wide Web site attributed to WALA-TV) related to some reports it had regarding the results of a certain election in the state of Alabama before then (this is what he was saying: "There were more than twenty two thousand write-in votes in the Senate election featuring some well-known names and not so well-known names. Mobile County independent candidate Lee Busby received the highest number of write-ins of four hundred eighty two followed by incumbent senator Luther Strange. Nick Saban edged out Jeff Sessions by one vote, mayor Sandy Stimpson received thirty one votes, representative Bradley Byrne thirteen, somebody named Dick Dock got one vote, so did Lame Duck. Now Baldwin County's top write-in candidate, again, was Lee Busby with five hundred thirty nine votes, Luther Strange received five hundred seven. Jeff Sessions, Nick Saban, Charles Barkley, and Tommy Tubberville got votes in Baldwin County, as did Sean Hannity, Spencer Collier, Boo Radley -- who, of course, doesn't exist; it's a fictional character -- and Jimmy Buffet".**

    • The cable TV channels in the cable TV system operated by Comcast Cablevision of Mobile that usually appeared to have programming for a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named FXX each appeared to have had video of a programming feed for the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV in place of it without audio this Thursday (note: each of them had the video appearing more vertical than the way it usually appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV in recent times).  
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-sixth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht**) presenting a report regarding a certain "rescue" with statements pertaining to its audience (this is what he was saying while doing so: "a rescue in El Paso, Texas caught on camera is going viral because it's not something you don't see or hear about very often: a man had to be rescued from the back of a garbage truck") and its other news presenter (Rose Ann Haven) presenting a report that had her describing its content as "strange" immediately after the one one (this is what she was saying that had her doing so: "Another strange story: this one out of South Dakota where two best friends turned out to be biological brothers".

    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-second day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy) using the word "should" in reference to temperatures while presenting a report related to them (as in, "We started off in the lower sixties where we should be" for one report and,"Temperatures were in the upper seventies, about fifteen to twenty degrees above where we should be for this time of year" for another one).
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 6:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.) had its news presenter (Asha Staples) saying this to its weather reporter (Matt Barrentine) after mentioning the date for this Saturday ("Today is December 23rd") and introducing herself ("I'm Asha Staples."): "Just the day before Christmas Eve, Matt, can you believe that?" (the weather reporter said this immediately afterwards: "Yeah, two days 'til Christmas. I know the kids could believe it").
    • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") had its news presenter (Asha Staples) saying, "Christmas is just two days way, can you believe it" while presenting a summary of subjects planned planned for it before having her saying,"Good morning and thank you for choosing 'FOX 10 News' on this Saturday morning. Today is December 23rd, just two days away from Christmas, I know you can't believe it because I can't" after having an animated opening sequence.
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday") had its news presenter (Chad Petri) presenting this comment related to a report of a decrease in the rate of unemployment in the state of Alabama he had just presented: "This is pretty good news for the state of Alabama as a whole, but News 5 dig a little digging and all of the counties in our viewing area, Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia*, and Washington all saw an slight increase in unemployment in October.

B.) Biunno**) appearing to express an opinion related to members of militaries after presenting a report related to such members during the few seconds of its last segment. 
    • The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had a paid commercial program during the second half of the hour in which it was was usually set to have a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles from Monday through Friday in recent times this Tuesday (it had a different type of program in the same period of time on the Monday of the twenty-fifth day of this December (a syndicated one dedicated to lifestyles ( "1st Look")); as for the name of the local program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles, it was "Gulf Coast Today").*** 
    • One of the opening sequences for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-fifth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had the music for its previous segment (a report related to weather) instead of the music and announcement that usually accompanied it in previous installments of it in recent times whereas one of the others appeared without motion while having the same music for about one second (the next part of the program involved its news presenter (Hayley Minogue****) presenting news reports).   
    • The main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV had a syndicated program named "The Wendy Williams Show" at a time when it was usually set to have a syndicated program named "Lauren Lake's Paternity Court" from Monday through Friday in recent times (the hour of 2:00 p.m.) whereas the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV was set to have special programming related to a game of football from their main provider of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) when it was usually set to have the program named "The Wendy Williams Show" from Monday through Friday in recent times (the hour of 3:00 p.m.) on the Monday of the the twenty-fifth day of this December.

    • The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV had a program named "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" during the first half of the hour in which it was usually set to have a local news program named "Channel 3 News Dayside" from Monday through Friday in recent times this Monday (the hour of 11:00 a.m.)***
    • A programming feed for a TV programming service for the public school system in the county of Mobile in southwest Alabama (MCPSS TV) had some animation of a fire place with audio of various pieces of music on the Monday of the twenty-fifth day of this December.

    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the evening hours for the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.")* had a member of the news operation at WALA-TV who was usually not a news presenter for it in recent times (a Facebook page attributed to him appeared to have had a recording of this installment of it with a message related to it attributed to him dated for that Saturday (with phrases such as, "My first time anchoring in Mobile at FOX 10"); as for his name, it was Toi Thornton). 
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had audio of its news presenter (Mary Smith) laughing during her presentation of a report concerning a person in a certain costume (a "chewbacca" costume) riding a costume while having a video related to it before having audio of its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy) presenting more details related to it before having her saying, "Thank you, Thomas" and her saying, "I wasn't really expecting this to come up on our newscast; it just sort of sprung up on me at the last minute".

      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-second day of this December ("WKRG News at 10") had audio of one of its news presenters (Devon Walsh) saying this in between her presenting a report related to a shelter for dogs while having video related to it: "Oh, look at him putting his paw up".
      • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-second day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a video of a report involving its narrator (Devan Coffaro) and a camera operator (Ronald Gaines) (note: the reporter herself appeared to had introduced the video as part of the first program mentioned). 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Saturday ("NBC 15 News [at 5 p.m.]") had its news presenter (Lance Crawford**) presenting information pertaining weather instead of a weather reporter for the news operation at WPMI-TV (such as any member of it who usually did so for some of the local news programming it had before then in recent times (Kelly Foster**, Chris Dunn, Jake Dunne, and Jessica Townsend)).
      • At least one of the weather reporters for some of the local news programming WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel in recent times (such as one named Michael White) had occasionally said a certain "Santa" was to be "coming to town" without explaining whom or what he was referencing while presenting predictions of weather for the Sunday of the twenty-fourth day of this December and the Monday of the twenty-fifth day of this December in some of the local news programming they had earlier this calendar week. 
      (*the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV was usually set to have a video like this one in its programming on the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth days of December in years past)

      • Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel Thursday of the twenty-first day of this December had some members of the news operation at WKRG-TV (such as news presenters and reporters) saying a certain day ("the first day of winter") did not "feel like it" (note: the aforementioned Thursday was the first day of astronomical winter in southwest Alabama for the rest of this calendar year and the beginning of the first half of the next calendar year).   
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-first day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of its news presenters (Devon Walsh**) presenting a report concerning an interview broadcast by a certain TV station without mentioning the name of the station (she had described the station only as "an Alabama TV station") whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the same period of time that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) presenting a similar report*** in which one of the local news programs for WALA-TV was referenced.
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the twenty-first day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy****) saying this regarding a certain "Rudolph" without explaining whom or what he was referencing while discussing a possibility of fog in the local broadcast area for WKRG-TV (this is what he was saying while doing so: "And once we see the fog build in it's going last through the morning hours, So I'm going to say it to you over and over like a broken record, make sure you give yourself extra time, like a broken record, also make sure to give your self plenty of space between you and the car in front of you, and don't forget to use the low beams, that's what Rudolph would do and that's what you should do as well").

      • A World Wide Web site related to a plan to hold a certain game of football in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama on the Saturday of the twenty-third day of this December (and be called "The Dollar General Bowl") had a message concerning a national TV and cable TV programming named ESPN (the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) possibly having such a game televised live if it were to happen that day (by the hour of 6:00 p.m.).*
      • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the twentieth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") each had their news presenter (Lenise Ligon) presenting a statement claiming that they (she had actually used to word "we") were "dubbing" a certain person "Bonnie minus Clyde" while appearing to introduce a video of a report related to the person she appeared to had been referencing (note: the video itself also had the words "Bonnie minus Clyde"; in the form of text).**

      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the nineteenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had some live video of a news reporter for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Toi Thornton) comparing his self to toys and acknowledging his forename as "Toi" in addition to reporting on a certain initiative of theirs involving toys  (he was saying, "Who better to send to this but this guy: Toi Thornton" and, "As I said, we, of course my name is Toi, but, um, I'm not good enough for this. We need actual toys for those kids" while doing so; as for the name of the initiative, it was "The 10 Caring Gifts Toy Drive").

      • A World Wide Web site named Digital Memorial had an obituary dated for the Monday of the eighteenth day of this December concerning a person (named Theodore ("Buddy") Tucker) who had owned two radio stations in southwest Alabama (WMOB-AM (licensed to serve the city of Mobile in this area) and WTOF-AM (licensed to service the city of Bay Minette in this area)) and one radio station in the central part of the state of Florida (WYND-AM (licensed to serve the city of DeLand in this area)) in recent times. 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the eighteenth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had its news presenter (Bill Riales*) appearing in an area from which he and other news presenters for it usually did not initially appear in previous installments of it in recent times (he said he was it was a "toy vault" (for a certain initiative for WKRG-TV named "The Magical Christmas Toy Drive")).**
      • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the eighteenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") each appeared to have had live video of a news reporter for the news operation at WALA-TV (Lee Peck) reporting from the interior of an automobile being driven by a separate person beside him (video similar to this one) whereas the first program appeared to have had live video of a road from the perspective of a certain entity moving along its path in a forward direction in between the video it had of the reporter of the other person.

      • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. this Monday ("Studio 10") had one of its hosts (Chasity Byrd) referring to a certain person by a personal title ("Miss") whereas other persons mentioned by her and its other host (Joe Emer) were not called by such a title (she was claiming the one she had called "miss" was a "viewer" of the program and that this Monday was her one hundredth birthday).  
      • The beginning of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 11:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the seventeenth day of this December had its weather reporter (Thomas Geboy) appearing to refer to it by a name not normally in referring to any of the local news programs that were usually part of its programming in recent times after presenting a weather report (he was saying, "News 5 at 10:30 Late Edition' stars now").* 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Monday of the eighteenth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had one of their news presenters (Katarina Luketich**) saying, "Can't you believe it's almost the end of the season?" after presenting a report related to the sport of football and a certain "bowl season" related to it and a plan for a certain "bowl game" named "the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl"" and its other news presenter (Bill Riales) appearing to say, "That was the--yeah--yeah, I can't believe-- that was the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl" and having her saying, "I know, it's a mouthful" immediately after afterwards.
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 6:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the seventeenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m.") had its news presenter (Asha Staples) appearing to present this report regarding some beings named "Santa", "elves", and "reindeer" without specifying them: "Almost that time of year again; Santa and his elves have been busy preparing all year long to fill the wish lists of little boys and girls everywhere; in just a week he and his reindeer will take flight and FOX 10 News is committed to helping you track them. On Christmas Eve, with the help of NORAD, we will be tracking Santa's flight on air [and] online, so be sure to visit our Web site fox10tv.com. There as always we will let you know exactly where Santa is on Christmas Eve; that way you'll be sure to be in bed by the time he gets to your house" (the program had an animated sequence with the following texts immediately before that report: "FOX10tv.com", "Santa Tracker", "Century Bank", "We Take Banking Personally", and "CenturyBank.net").

We'll tell you why after the break" immediately before one of its breaks and her saying, "Welcome back. A former campaign manager for now-president Donald Trump has written a book that takes us behind the scenes of the Trump campaign" immediately after that break after having presented a report without any mention of any specific campaign manager or any specific entity (or being) named "Trump" (note: she had presented a report concerning a certain "president" named "Trump" earlier in the part of the program before that break, though).  
      • The local news program WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel after the special network programming it had from their main provider of such programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) during the evening hours of the Saturday of the sixteenth day of this December appeared over a period of time (thirty minutes between the first and second halves of the hour of 9:00 p.m.) that was half the period of time in which it had such a news program after the regular network programming it had from the same provider during some of the same hours (only the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. rather than those hours and the hour of 9:00 p.m. for this Saturday) on the Saturday of the tenth day of this December in accordance with how it usually had local news programming after having either regular network programming or special news programming from the provider on Saturday evenings in recent times.
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourteenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had its news presenter (Bob Grip) appearing to refer to some of the news reporters for the news operation at WALA-TV (Kendra Turley and Toi Thornton) the way he usually referred to reporters of a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service named the FOX News Channel in some of the local news programming they had for their own broadcast operation in recent times while appearing to introduce certain videos of some reports attributed to them (he was saying, "FOX's Toi Thornton has been following this story and has details" and "FOX News correspondent Kendra Turley has more") whereas the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.) had him appearing to refer to them the ways in which he usually referred to refers in some of their local news programming they had in recent times (he was saying "FOX 10's Toi Thornton has been following this story today and has details on it: and "FOX 10 News reporter Kendra Turley has more").

      • The main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV had the beginning of a theatrical movie named "Muppets from Space" immediately after having special programming related to a certain game of game of football (named "The Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game") sometime during the first twenty minutes of the hour of 3:00 p.m. this Saturday (the guide to the programming of the channel from a World Wide Web site named TitanTV had listings suggesting it would have such special programming during the hours of 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. and the theatrical movie during the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. this Saturday (note: the last group of credits for the movie appeared on the channel during the last ten minutes of the hour of 4:00 p.m.)).
      • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Friday of the fifteenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.) had its news presenter (Bob Grip) presenting a report of a certain event involving certain entities described as "members of the media" and the department of police for the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama along with video related to it whereas the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hour of 5:00 a.m. this Saturday ("WKRG News 5 This Morning: Saturday") had its news presenter (Chad Petri) appearing to present another report of such a event having occurred before appearing to introduce a video of a report related to it involving its narrator.

      • The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV was usually set to have local news programming for only a period of thirty minutes after having network programming from their main provider of such programming (the FOX Broadcasting Company) on Saturday evenings in recent times (usually during the first half of the hour of 9:00 p.m. or shortly after having special sports programming from the provider any time during that period of time) before having such news programming over the course of sixty minutes on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December (during the hour of 9:00 p.m.).

      • A Facebook page attributed to Mississippi Public Broadcasting had a message attributed to its administration dated for the Monday of the eleventh day of this December concerning the broadcast tower for the radio station of the radio network for Mississippi Public Broadcasting that usually had southwest Alabama in its local broadcast area in recent times (WMAH-FM in the city of Biloxi in the state of Mississippi).

      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Monday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a video (similar to this one) of one of its news presenters (Bob Grip) appearing to redo a presentation of his concerning the results of certain polls related to a persons mentioned in the paragraph above this one (he appeared to had said this while appearing to had done so: "Let's try again! Take two! Three, two...").
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had live video of one of its news reporters (Allen Carter) in a remote location doing an opinionated report related to a plan to hold an election for the position in the Senate of the United States sought by the persons mentioned in the first paragraph from the top of this report on the Tuesday of the twelfth day of this December before having a separate video involving another opinionated report related to the plan (this is what the reporter appeared to had been saying: "Well Devon, at this point this isn't exactly an election that's going to sneak up on anyone. There has been local and of course national coverage, but at this point both sides are still trying to drum up any last minute votes they could find" (this is what was said in the other video (its narrator sounded like that of the reporter in the previous one): "This is it, the political home stretch on the eve of election day and depending on which poll you look at it's any man's race and both sides know that every vote counts; if only honks translated to votes; supporters taking their corners and stomping").

      • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had live videos of a reporter for the news operation at WALA-TV who was not usually part of the news programming it had from the operation before then (a Facebook page attributed to WALA-TV appeared to have had live video of her describing herself as "the newest member of the FOX 10 team" whereas a Facebook page attributed to her had the same video with a message attributed to her consisting of the words "Initial report" above it; as for her name, both pages had "Kendra Turley" in reference to her). 
      • The main broadcast channels for WPMI-TV and WKRG-TV appeared to have had special programs related to certain parades in their local broadcast areas when they were usually set to have national news programs dedicated to summaries of news from their respective main providers of network programming on Saturday in recent times on the Saturday of the ninth day of this December (the special program on the channel for WPMI-TV had a parade of boats near the city of Orange Beach in southwest Alabama whereas the special program on the channel for WKRG-TV had a parade of persons, floats, and automobiles in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida* during the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m.; as for the national news programs they were usually set to have during that period on Saturday recent times, the channel for WPMI-TV was usually set to have the one named "NBC Nightly News" from the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) whereas the channel for WKRG-TV was usually set to have one "The CBS Weekend News" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)**).
      (*the channel for WKRG-TV occasionally had video of the special program of it had in a box near a separate box with videos of various advertisements while having audio related only to the advertisements)

      News for Saturday, December 9th, 2017

      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had three reports involving thieves and the word "grinch".
      • The bottom halves of the programming feeds for the main broadcast channels for WKRG-TV and WALA-TV each had a digital map of their local broadcast area and a digital graphic with text pertaining to advisories and warnings related to certain weather associated with the season of winter (even though southwest Alabama and other parts of the broadcast area of WKRG-TV and WALA-TV were in the season of autumn by the time these graphics appeared) scrolling from the left side of it to the right of it over its programming on the Friday of the eighth day of this December. 
      • A Facebook page attributed to WRGV-FM had a message attributed to its administration dated for the Friday of the eighth day of this December concerning a change of the operation of WRGV-FM by then (their programming feed had been displaced by that of one of the HD Radio channels of WMXC-FM and a translator of it named W262BL-FX (the feed for them was usually advertised as "100.3 The Beat" (based on the broadcast frequency of the translator) before the change; as for how it was advertised after the change, it was done as "107.3 The Beat" (based on the broadcast frequency of WRGV-FM)).
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this December had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) appearing to ask one of its news reporters (Mary Smith), "Mary, what are people saying about these low temperatures?" and the reporter in what appeared to had been live video of her in a remote location separate from that of the news presenter appearing to say, "Yeah I'll just be honest with you, if they don't like it one bit almost every single person I talked to this evening says it's about thirty degrees too cold for them" in response. 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the Friday of the eighth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had one of its news presenters (Jessica Taloney) appearing to mention a former member of the news operation at WKRG-TV to its other news presenter (Bill Riales) after presenting a report of snow in the state of Texas (this is what the news presenter named Jessica Taloney was saying: "I heard from Jene' Young -- you -- you know Jene', she used to be a meteorologist here. She had some snow on her mailbox in Houston" (this is what the news presenter named Bill Riales had said immediately after what the other one was saying regarding the aforementioned Jene' Young: "Ha, ha, ha, what a surprise").*
      (*the former member was also known by the name Jene' Rockwood (she had married a former reporter for WALA-TV named Mike Rockwood)

      News for Friday, December 8th, 2017

      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) using a word not often used in its broadcasts in recent times while introducing one of its reporters (Joe Emer): the word "deets" (this is how she was using it while introducing him: "Want to go right to it with Joe Emer with the deets").
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this December had audio of one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) stating an opinion pertaining to a company named Baldwin EMC immediately after having a video concerning them and an initiative for WKRG-TV named "The Magical Christmas Toy Drive" (this is what she was saying while doing so: God bless the fine folks at Baldwin EMC"). 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Thursday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) appearing to tell its audience how to vote in a certain election before introducing video of a report related to what he appeared to had been saying: (this is what he said while doing so: "Five days to go until the special senate election; you will vote for Roy Moore or Doug Jones or neither; one wants you to ditch both Roy Moore and Doug Jones and write in 'Busby'. Here's News 5's Peter Albrecht). 
      • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Wednesday of the sixth day of this December ("Studio 10") had one of its hosts (Michael White) referring to a certain Sara Simnitch of a TV station related to WALA-TV by ownership as being the Sara Simnitch of their "Meredith sister station in Saginsaw, Michigan" while introducing and attributing a video of a report to this Sara Simnitch (note: "Studio 10" was mentioned in the report, specifically near the end of it as part of this sentence: "In Frankenmuth, Michigan, I'm Sara Simnitch for 'Studio 10' ").* 
      • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this December ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") had its weather reporter (John Nodar) and news presenter (Devon Walsh) discussing a report of a plan for some schools in one of the counties in the broadcast area for WKRG-TV (the county of Clarke in southwest Alabama) to close on a certain day presented by the news presenter: (this is how they had this discussion: John Nodar: Probably a good idea; the farther north you are the more likely that it is you will see some sort of winter precipitation out there. A lot a folks are going to be disappointed because you hear that word snow and the lights and bells go off. I'll be on Facebook in just a few minutes; going on a little more detail on all what we're expecting for tomorrow. Devon Walsh: Ok so just right now Clark County schools that's it.
