- One of the news presenters on the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this past Thursday (Bill Riales on "WKRG News 5 This Morning") asked its weather reporter (John Nodar) for his thoughts about the idea of "cutting" the Bankhead Tunnel in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama off to automobiles immediately after presenting a report about the idea.
- The news presenters on the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Friday (Kelly Foster and Christian Jennings on "Local 15 Today") appeared to be speaking to a scientist for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Alex Young) via satellite about a certain phase of the moon orbiting the planet Earth expected to occur next Monday on the fourteenth day of this November (the news presenter named Kelly Foster had credited a part of the administration named the Goddard Space Flight Center for "satellite time" a few seconds before speaking to the member).
