- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this past Sunday on the sixth day of this November ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had a promotional graphic for their plan to broadcast reports about an election for the presidency of the United States expected to occur this Tuesday on the eighth day of this November with images of only two of the candidates for the presidency (Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump) seconds after having a report about them and two other candidates for the presidency (Gary Johnson and Jill Stein).
- One of the news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Monday (Devon Walsh of "WKRG News 5 at 5") told a guest of the program from a radio station in their broadcast area (Sean Sullivan of WAVH-FM) that a candidate for the presidency of the United States named Donald Trump was going to "win" the state of Alabama (in the process of electing a person to the presidency) this Tuesday before asking him to give an estimate of listeners in the audience for the station (she referred to them as his listeners) who may vote for this candidate this Tuesday as part of an analytical segment of the program (the guest said, "Ninety percent" in response to her request).
